Dr. Patrick Knaak

Patrick Knaak DVM graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2015. He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in animal sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.

Dr. Patrick Knaak has special interests in soft and orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, cytology, and ophthalmology. When out of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife Karen as well as waterskiing, fishing, hunting, golfing, playing hockey, soccer, and broomball.

Dr Amanda Rich

Dr. Amanda Rich

Dr. Amanda Rich graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Prior to veterinary school she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Wisconsin- Platteville.

Dr. Rich is originally from Eureka, IL where she continues to raise Southdown sheep with her family. Dr. Rich and her husband Jacob have a daughter, Rachel, along with their pup, Roscoe. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family while hiking, boating, and riding ATVs.

Dr. Justin Fehr

Dr. Justin Fehr

Dr. Justin Fehr graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Prior to veterinary school he received his Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in 2011.

Dr. Fehr is originally from Eureka, IL. He and his wife have three sons, along with their cat Bella. Outside of work he enjoys fishing, hiking, farming, and anything else that gets him outside.

 

Dr. Sara Fluty

Dr. Sara Fluty

Dr. Sara Fluty grew up on a farm outside Mattoon, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2009, as well as her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2013.

Shortly after graduation, she and her husband Steve were married. Currently, Dr. Fluty, Steve, and their daughter, Fiona, reside in rural Bloomington near Steve’s dairy farm. While much of her time outside of work is spent helping on the farm, Dr. Fluty also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and showing Brown Swiss dairy cattle.

In addition to the cattle, other members of the Fluty family include two dogs and one cat. Minnie and Django are both heeler mixes who were adopted through various rescues, and Apple is a 15 year old tabby cat who Dr. Fluty adopted in college.
